Testing and training are necessary in complex projects

We always recommend to test equipment and robots before we go offshore on customized missions involving robot technology and advanced tools. By having control of all details up front, we reduce the risk for downtime, and the pilots become more familiar with the operation. This increases the efficiency and decrease safety risk. When we are far out at sea on a mission, without access to any other support than what the team can solve on their own, everything must work as it should.

In complex projects we also like to train personnel on full-scale mock-ups of the relevant working area offshore in our dry dock that can be filled with seawater. This ensures that we are well-prepared when we travel with our team and equipment package to offshore installations, which ensures a safe, predictable, efficient, and precise execution.
