We care about the life beyond our company

In OceanTech, we care about life beyond our company. This applies to our employees, our local community in Trondheim and Nyhavna, and the world at large. This has led to several concrete activities and engagements that provide a glimpse into who we are.

Among others, OceanTech support local sport, music events and non profit organizations working for respect, justice and care among people.

Our Subsea Test Centre is in a facility that was built by the Germans during World War II as a submarine base. This property is defined as a cultural heritage site, and makes our Subsea Test Centre a very special location ideal for film and picture events. Additionally, we can offer startups, small businesses, researchers, and students access to our Subsea Test Center for testing their own concepts to favourable conditions. All this are non-profit activities for OceanTech.
